What is family support?
Parenting can be a difficult job at every stage of child rearing. We aim to support all those involved in parenting who may need advice, guidance or who just need a chat.
Áiseanna na hÓige with support from TUSLA provide a free, one-to one, private and confidential service which can be provided through English or Irish. Supports can be provided through the MEITHEAL framework which is a way of working with children and their families to identify and respond to their strengths and needs in a timely way. Examples of the challenges Meitheal could help with are:
-
A child having problems at school
-
A child feeling down
-
Not getting on with your child
-
Family Problems
-
Illness or bereavement
-
Difficult behaviour
-
Relationship with your child
What we offer in Áiseanna na hÓige:
